Longtime Harrah’s Ak-Chin Casino employee Mike Kintner has been named the new general manager of the property, located near Maricopa, Arizona.
Kintner, who has been at the Ak-Chin Casino for 15 years, was named senior vice president and general manager. He was previously director of marketing and operations.
His predecessor, Robert Livingston, has been promoted to senior vice president of tribal affairs for Harrah’s.
Kintner told the Business Journal, “The pandemic is the most challenging thing I’ve faced in my career. The economic downturn in 2008 pales in comparison.”
