The Oklahoma-based Kiowa Tribe recently opened the Kiowa Casino, the tribe’s third gambling operation, in Carnegie. Kiowa Casino Chief Operating Officer Jim LaPorte said, “We are excited to be opening in Carnegie. The opportunities this location provides to the local community are vast. Along with additional consumer traffic to local businesses, we are adding 45 jobs to the community, adding to its economic growth. This demonstrates our continued commitment to Carnegie and the local community.”
Kiowa Carnegie offers 117 slot machines and a café. It still is hiring for several positions.
The tribe also operates casinos in Red River and Verden.
