On April 11, Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Jamestown, California announced the appointment of Katie Kirkland as group sales manager.
Kirkland has more than 14 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism and sales industries and is known for designing and implementing innovative campaigns. As sales and marketing director for Tuolumne County, she successfully expanded into three international markets. She has also worked at Club Med Resorts, Black Oak Casino Resort and Development Counsellors International.
“I’m excited to bring fresh perspectives and innovative strategies to enhance our guests’ group experiences,” said Kirkland in a statement. “Our team is dedicated to creating memorable events and ensuring every detail exceeds expectations. I look forward to collaborating with our clients and partners to elevate our offerings and establish Chicken Ranch as a premier destination for group gatherings.”
Located in the heart of the California motherlode near Yosemite National Park, Chicken Ranch Casino offers nine classic table games, 580-plus gaming machines and an authentic bingo hall.
In 2020, the Chicken Ranch Rancheria Me-Wuk Indians officially unveiled plans for the Chicken Ranch Casino & Resort, a nine-story gaming resort and conference center near Table Mountain set to open in summer 2024. The destination will feature 197 hotel rooms (including suites), nightlife options, and a collection of restaurants and bars, with 12,000 square feet of event space.
