After last year’s ICE debut of Konami Gaming, Inc.’s new Concerto video slot, the company is expanding its popular standard upright machine into a complete lineup of core cabinets including Concerto Slant, Concerto SeleXion multi-game, Concerto Stack single screen, and Concerto Crescent™ single curved screen. This February 7 – 9, more than 28,000 guests at ICE 2017 have the opportunity to view and explore the new Concerto Collection at Konami stand #S6-110. In addition, a variety of new game themes will be featured across Konami’s machine offering, with a broad mix of formats and backed by original art, animation, math, and play mechanics.
For the first time at ICE 2017, proven signature elements of Konami’s top-performing Concerto cabinet are expanding to a complete lineup of video slot offerings, beginning with Concerto Slant. Consistent to the original upright machine, Concerto Slant carries dual 27-inch HD game screens, but with a lower profile and relaxed-angle posture for player comfort and convenience. Concerto Slant supports any game content found on Concerto upright and is also backward compatible with proven KP3 platform titles such as Dragon’s Law, Lotus Land, China Shores, and many more.
Cai Lai Si Ji
Konami’s showcase feature on Concerto Slant is a new progressive game called Cai Lai Si Ji. This 4-level standalone progressive bonus combines with a unique collection of custom base games including Wealth of Dynasty, Winning Animals, and Power of Riches—each with brilliant Asian-style art elements. Any time the trigger flower symbol appears, players can be awarded the mystery-trigger Cai Li Si Ji progressive bonus, revealing 12 mystery gold blossoms which players match to determine their award.
Konami’s popular SeleXion™ multi-game is now bringing the industry’s fastest game change speed to Concerto for the first time. With expanded memory and processing power, up to 10 different games themes can be featured on a single machine, as well as a progressive bonus. Concerto SeleXion is available for both standard Concerto upright and Concerto Slant. During ICE, Konami will demonstrate the flexibility of Concerto SeleXion to highlight either KP3 platform games or new KP3+ titles, with standalone or linked progressives.
Lamp of Destiny
A top-performing new Xtra Reward game available for Concerto is a 5-reel release called Lamp of Destiny. This original debut features a mystical genie as its hero character. When players enter the free games, the genie presents three different magic lamps for players to choose from—one secretly holding a generous award of Super Free Games with up to 100x multipliers.
White Cats
Players are on the hunt for nature’s rarest gems and precious stones in the new Ultra Reels games called White Cats. Also set for display on the new Concerto SeleXion, White Cats includes a special free game feature with transforming wild symbol multipliers for any winning combination. As with other Ultra Reels series games, this title awards scatter pays from left to right for adjacent symbols.
Savage Eyes
Konami will present an original new Xtra Reward feature at ICE 2017 that extends high-value symbols horizontally across the reels. In this KP3+ game called Savage Eyes, Action Stacked Symbols appearing on the first reel are merged across to any adjacent Action Stacked Symbols on the same position for reels 3, 4, and 5. These merged sandwich symbols create big potential line wins and awaken excitement by displaying close-eye encounter with the jungle’s most majestic predators.
Wheel of the Imperial Eggs (SAP)
Konami’s first KP3+ standalone progressive game for Concerto combines a wheel-based and pick ‘em style bonus. Wheel of the Imperial Eggs is a mystery trigger 3-level progressive with unique art styles reflecting an early 20th century Slavic tradition of richly ornamented jeweled eggs associated with Easter. Players are awarded 3 picks at the start of the feature, to try to reveal a wheel spin jackpot chance.
Smash Smash Festival (LAP)
Bursting with fun fiesta flare and colorful celebration, Smash Smash Festival is Konami’s first original KP3+ linked jackpot bonus. Instead of traditional metering progressive prizes, this linked game progresses the number of available prizes in the jackpot pool with each mystery-trigger selection until a player is awarded the Smash Time bonus to redeem all prizes in the central pot. All jackpot amounts are fixed, and odds of achieving the mystery trigger increase with higher extra bet levels.
Brothers of Fortune (LAP)
Brothers of Fortune is Konami’s new high performing linked progressive series with delightful bonus animation and fun characters. Brothers of Fortune offers a unique themed art style, while boosting entertainment with memorable gameplay. In this four-level, symbol-driven progressive, players hit a big win whenever red and/or blue brothers appear on any three reels. The combination of brothers determines the level of jackpot awarded.
This year’s ICE show marks the debut of Konami’s first single screen Concerto machines: the curved Concerto Crescent and the tall Concerto Stack. Both feature a stunning 43-inch high-definition vertical display, with signature Concerto highlights such as the unique side lighting element, sleek black finish, and digital topper options. These newest additions to the Konami Concerto lineup give players a luxury gaming experience and feature exclusive game content designed to optimize the machines’ extra-tall portrait orientation. However, both options maintain a standard upright base size for flexible configuration on the casino floor.
Dragon Fury
Dragon Fury is among the original new debut themes that Konami will showcase on Concerto Crescent and Concerto Stack during ICE. This KP3+ platform game is a MultipleLines 7-8-8-8-7 title with a unique bonus that dramatically increases the number of high-value PicA dragon symbols across the reel sets during the free games according to the number of trigger free game symbols, up to 241 dragon symbols for six trigger symbols.
Pharaoh’s Fury
Filled with a fascinatingly mysterious Egyptian theme, Pharaoh’s Fury is another 7-8-8-8-7 debut game for Concerto Crescent and Concerto Stack. Pharaoh’s Fury also carries a free game feature with bursts of extra wilds across the reel sets according to the number of trigger symbols. Additional free games can be won during the feature, and tally below the reels for redemption after the first set of free games is completed.
Konami’s Rapid Revolver video-mechanical hybrid machine has become a tour de force at casinos across the globe and continues to achieve a variety of creative gaming concepts. In lieu of the upper LCD screen, Rapid Revolver takes a unique spin on classic mechanical reels with six vertically stacked drums on its oversized top box, surrounded by synchronized high-impact sound and lighting. Guests at ICE 2017 will discover new custom games like Moonlight Fox and standalone bonuses such as Volcanic Rush that can combine with SeleXion multi-game for a variety of base game options.
Moonlight Fox
Moonlight Fox is among Konami’s latest new Rapid Revolver themes and features a 3-level standalone progressive bonus that combines interaction between the lower video screen and upper mechanical reels for exciting anticipation. In this game, players have a chance to select either the blue fox character or red princess character to determine multipliers, credit prize amounts, and/or progressive chance awards. Moonlight Fox also contains a special free game feature that increases the number of wild fox symbols in accordance with the number of trigger symbols collected.
Volcanic Rush
During ICE 2017, Volcanic Rush will combine with SeleXion multi-game to provide players with a variety of base game options to enjoy with the added excitement of a Rapid Revolver bonus game. This mystery trigger 5-level standalone progressive includes a pick ‘em style fireball feature and a Rapid Revolver drum feature for brilliant display of the video and mechanical reel elements. A variety of configuration options are available in terms of progressive setup and multi-game options.
