Slot supplier Konami Gaming unveiled the first of a new series of slot machines based on the legendary video game Dungeons & Dragons at last week’s Indian Gaming 2014 trade show.
“Konami has a long history of providing games that perform well based on solid math models, game features and game mechanics,” said Matt Reback, Konami’s vice president of marketing. “We built our Dungeons & Dragons games in close collaboration with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast in order to deliver an entertaining fantasy-themed game based on the classic adventure game, D&D. We are also excited to offer a premium product that has been merchandised in a manner befitting the world’s leading fantasy game brand and designed to stand out on any casino floor.”
Konami’s Dungeons & Dragons games are available in two fantasy themes, including Conquests & Treasures and Enchanted Riches. The games will be placed in pods of two, three or four, and will be merchandised with custom logo premium chairs, a themed bezel complete with glowing runes, faux stone design elements, hand-painted 3D dragon toppers and a variety of sign packages, including one with a large rotating red dragon.
“Customers will experience new levels of fun and engagement on their gaming floors because Dungeons & Dragons combines the most successful fantasy-themed game franchise in history with Konami’s industry-leading casino game design,” said Reback.
