Konami Gaming Inc. has announced the appointment of gaming technology veteran Sina Miri to the position of vice president, innovation and strategic R&D.
Miri, who has two decades of gaming industry experience, joined Konami Gaming in June. Prior to that, he was vice president of product management and R&D for Scientific Games Corp. and also was a vice president at International Game Technology.
Miri has led some of the world’s most recognizable gaming brands to drive new user experience enhancements while increasing business performance. He has a proven track record in shaping strategic vision and delivery of new technology by capitalizing upon advances in mobile, social, cashless and data driven omni-channel entertainment.

In his new position, Miri is responsible for identifying new opportunities for innovation, developing successful business models, coordinating organization-wide strategic planning, evaluating ongoing growth, and shaping fresh development perspectives across the company’s casino games business.
