Light & Wonder, Inc. announced two new partnership arrangements that will bring new content to operators in the U.S., U.K, Europe and South America.
The company has signed an expanded long-term deal with Everi Digital, the online gaming business of Everi Holdings Inc., empowering the developer to expand into new markets in the U.K., Europe, and South America.
The agreement will initially serve Light & Wonder’s customers in the U.K. with a range of games from the 70-strong catalog of Everi Digital, delivered to the network through Light & Wonder’s online ecosystem.
Customers in Italy will also be the first in the country to gain access to Everi Digital’s distinct titles in the summer of this year through the new agreement, with additional new European markets to follow by the end of 2024 on an exclusive basis. The rollout in South America is scheduled to take place in Q1 2024.
Everi’s games catalog has already proven popular with players in North America through an existing distribution deal with Light & Wonder, a relationship that has gone from strength to strength over the past four years.
The expanded deal represents the latest phase of Light & Wonder’s iGaming strategy—to forge major agreements with game developers to accelerate its leading position as a premium global content provider.
“This exciting collaboration with Light & Wonder allows Everi Digital to deliver our award-winning engaging gaming entertainment experiences to new players and markets,” said Jordan Brent, vice president, digital commercialization at Everi Holdings. “We are looking forward to providing our innovative content to a new segment of online players, driving the continued growth trajectory of our collective iGaming business.”
“Everi Digital’s content has proven hugely popular with players in North America, and we look forward to sharing its games across more of our global network,” said Steve Mayes, senior director of digital partnerships at Light & Wonder. “We are always looking to expand the scope of our online content, and stepper and skill games on Everi’s product roadmap will help achieve that goal.”
Light & Wonder’s online ecosystem delivers more than 3,500 games from a global network of in-house and third-party game studios.
Meanwhile, Light & Wonder also has forged a new collaboration with iGaming content supplier RubyPlay, that includes exclusive aggregation for the U.S. iGaming market.
The new agreement grants Light & Wonder’s operator network access to RubyPlay’s content, including the Immortal Ways series, which has recently gained significant traction for the provider. The innovative Immortal Ways mechanic gives players 10,000 ways to win and includes two Immortal Arrays across the four middle reels to heighten excitement, as well as bonus wheels that could award multipliers and fixed jackpots. The series has spawned several releases for the studio, including two of its best-performing titles to date.
RubyPlay boasts over 100 slots in its portfolio, including its hit Diamond Explosion series, which is also set to launch across Light & Wonder’s global operator network.
“RubyPlay has developed a stellar reputation for developing forward-thinking gaming experiences, and we are delighted to bring its high-quality content to an even wider reach on our global network,” said Steve Mayes, senior director of digital partnerships at Light & Wonder.
“Elevating emerging studios is a top priority for us, and we are particularly excited to be RubyPlay’s exclusive aggregator in the U.S., where we anticipate a great response to its dynamic content.”
Dr. Eyal Loz, chief product officer at RubyPlay, added, “Light & Wonder has a vast reach in terms of markets, particularly in North America, which is a perfect fit for RubyPlay’s strategy of focusing on regulated markets. We’re thrilled to be integrating our next-level content onto Light & Wonder’s platform, allowing significantly more players around the world to enjoy our cutting-edge slots.”
In other company news, Light & Wonder also announced that it has made a strategic investment into leading no-code automation platform Flows, in a move that will accelerate growth and scale up operations for the growing technology provider.
Light & Wonder has already enjoyed success utilizing Flows’ groundbreaking technology, delivering a new operator-funded marketing jackpots feature which adds significant value for partners and has plans for further releases in the coming months.
