Landing International Adds New Director

Hong Kong-listed Landing International Development has announced the addition of Yeung Lo as executive director of its board. He replaced Zhou Xueyun, who resigned for what she described as personal reasons.

Hong Kong-listed casino developer Landing International Development Ltd. last week announced that it has welcomed a new executive director to its board following the resignation of Zhou Xueyun, who resigned for “personal commitment” reasons.

Yeung Lo is the former CEO of Gongzi (Macau) Investment Co. Ltd., a post he held from 2018 to early 2019. He is also a former senior vice president of international marketing at Crown Melbourne in Victoria, Australia, a Crown Resorts property.

Yeung will receive a director’s fee of HKD2.12 million (US$273,000) per year, according to a filing. He has been appointed to a one-year fixed term, reported GGRAsia; it is automatically renewable for successive one-year terms, but he is subject to retirement at the next following annual general meeting, and from then will be subject to rotation at least once every three years, in accordance with the company’s by-laws.

Landing International now has four executive directors, including the group’s chairman and controller, Yang Zhihui, and three independent non-executive directors.

Landing International runs a foreigner-only casino at Jeju Shinhwa World, on South Korea’s Jeju Island. The resort’s Landing Casino opened in February 2018.
