The Landmark Macau casino hotel in the city’s peninsula district has been officially renamed the New Orient Landmark Hotel. The property was completed in April and sold by casino services firm Macau Legend Development Ltd. for HKD4.60 billion (US$586.1 million). Macau property investor Chong Sio Kin, chairman of the New Orient Group, is now the new majority owner of the hotel property.
GGRAsia reported no changes to the Pharaoh’s Palace Casino inside the hotel. The gaming halls is still managed by Macau Legend under the license of Macau casino concessionaire SJM Holdings Ltd.
