Officials for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and the Korea International Trade Association agreed to mutually assist a variety of trade initiatives.
LVCVA President and CEO Rossi Ralenkotter and Korea International Trade Association Chairman and CEO In-Ho Kim signed a memorandum of understanding during the authority’s October monthly meeting and agreed to help one another on business initiatives and help promote Las Vegas as an international business destination.
“Through this memorandum, our two organizations are expected to generate a strong synergy effect by cooperating on a broad range of common interests, including our commitment to the effective management of the World Trade Center and the improvement of exhibition and convention and facilities and services,” Kim said in a statement.
South Korea ranks among the top 10 foreign markets for Las Vegas with an estimated 137,0000 visitors during 2014, the Las Vegas Review Journal reported.
South Korea is the only Asian destination with nonstop flights to Las Vegas.
