Las Vegas’ Silver Sevens casino will undergo extensive renovations and upgrades and will be rebranded as the Continental, owner Affinity Interactive announced on November 9.

The new Continental is expected to feature an expanded casino floor with outdoor gaming areas and new food and beverage outlets, the company said. The property is expected to be complete sometime in 2025.

“This marks an exciting chapter for our property and company,” Affinity CEO Andrei Scrivens said in a statement. “Our vision is to elevate the casino and hotel experience at Silver Sevens while remaining true to its history.”

The new name is actually the property’s old name, and pays homage to the old Continental that closed back in 1999. The property operated under the Terrible’s brand from 2000 to 2013, when it became Silver Sevens.

Affinity said the decision to return to the former brand will harken back to its “legacy of excitement, approachability and value.”

“The Continental brand reaffirms our dedication to delivering a unique, exceptional, and value-driven experience to our community, while also contributing to Las Vegas’ growing reputation as a global sports and entertainment destination,” Scrivens added.
