The National Football League has confirmed that it will host its annual Pro Bowl game in Las Vegas for the second straight year, following the approval of the league’s $1.75 million host fee by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA).
The official date of next year’s game has not yet been determined, but the game is always played sometime in February, before the Super Bowl.
In a statement, the league lauded the “incredible success” of 2022’s game, and added that “exciting changes” for the game itself will be announced soon.
Brian Yost, chief operating officer of the LVCVA, said at a recent meeting that the 2022 Pro Bowl brought nearly 30,000 visitors to the city.
A spokesperson for the league said that the NFL is “thrilled to bring the 2023 Pro Bowl back to the city for the second year and continue our partnership with the (Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority) and the Las Vegas Raiders,”
Las Vegas is also slated to host the Super Bowl at Allegiant Stadium in February 2024.
