It marks the 15th online casino in the state.

Slots make up the bulk of SI’s digital casino, with 342 games. Of those, 53 are SI exclusive games. The Hannahville tribe actually launched its first online casino in Michigan last year, with Twin Spires as its provider. But Twin Spires decided to leave the casino market in Michigan, leaving the tribe in a lurch. It needed a new operator, and could lose money for each month not live.

The tribe hammered out an arrangement with 888 in September to launch an online casino.

“I wish the Hannahville tribe continued success as they once again may offer their customers both internet gaming and internet sports betting in Michigan,” Michigan Gaming Control Board Executive Director Henry Williams said in a statement.
