Latvia Sets Live Dealer Casino License Fee

Latvia’s Parliament has announced that starting January 1, 2018, online gambling operators offering live Dealer games will be required to pay a fixed fee of €400,000 a year. Lawmakers has considered a per table fee of €11,700, but elected to set the flat fee. There is no limitation on the number of tables an operator can put in play.

Latvia’s Parliament has set a €400,000 set fee for online sites wishing to offer live dealer games in the country.

The Parliament has reportedly been considering an €11,700 fee per table offered, but went with a flat fee with no limitations on the number of tables that operators can put in play.

Evolution Gaming, one of the leading providers of live dealer games in the market, announced the new fee in a press release. Evolution had warned previously that the fees could hurt their business, but did not object to the increase in their latest release.
