Novomatic Group announced that Lawrence Levy, formerly in charge of sales for South and Central America, has been promoted to the position of vice president of global sales for the Austria-based international supplier and operator.
Levy will report directly to Novomatic AG Chairman and CEO Harald Neumann.
In his new position, Levy will be mainly focused on the further development and sale of Novomatic products, and will also make a significant contribution to the development of new markets in the U.S., Africa, Asia and Australia.
Levy began his 35-year gaming career as a croupier in London, and worked through various management positions. He became general manager of Novomatic’s Crown Gaming Peru property in 2009.
“The requirements of our customers vary in each market,” Levy said. “Thanks to my experience in more than 17 countries, I am familiar with local conditions and individual needs of the various markets. I am able to use this knowledge to understand what casino operators need in terms of product, technology, innovation and customer service.”
“With this appointment,” said Neumann, “Novomatic once again signals its clear commitment to strategic expansion, especially in the North, Central and South America, Asia and Australia.”
