Linq Cuts the Ribbon in Las Vegas

Caesars Entertainment has officially opened its all-new Linq Hotel. The former Imperial Palace, which briefly bore the name the Quad, is at the center of the Linq Promenade, with its mighty High Roller observation wheel. Caesars spent $230 million to upgrade more than 2,200 rooms.

Final phase will open in 2015

??Last month, Caesars Entertainment officially cut the ribbon on its refurbished Linq Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. The property, once known as the Quad, underwent a $230 million makeover that added a larger check-in area and lobby and upgraded more than 2,200 rooms and suites. Still in the works: two new pools with plush cabanas and a dayclub. They’re set to open next spring.??

“Finally it’s all integrated as one distinctive destination,” Jon Gray, VP and GM of the Linq, told the Las Vegas Sun. “This adds 2,256 rooms to the Linq neighborhood, and it will now be a complete, seamless experience. The new name clears up any confusion. It’s all Linq.”??

There are also plug-ins for cell phones, tablets and laptops nearly everywhere you turn and electric-car charging stations in the garage.
