Cordish Companies announced that it has hired Craig Clark, the former general manager of Rivers Casino Pittsburgh, as director of finance for the soon-to-open Live! Casino Pittsburgh, the Cordish mini-casino opening November 24 at the Westmoreland Mall in suburban Hempfield Township, according to a report in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Clark, who has more than 26 years of experience in the gaming industry, will oversee the finance departments at the under construction at the former Bon-Ton department store at Westmoreland Mall. Clark will be responsible for managing finance departments including accounting, analytics, count rooms, the casino cage, finance, income and revenue audit and scheduling.
Clark began his gaming career at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York, where he served as director of finance for six years. He served another seven years at the facility as senior vice president and general manager, before being named general manager of California’s Pechanga Resort, and then of Rivers Pittsburgh.
