The Cordish Cos. last week revealed plans for a Live! entertainment center as part of its Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park redevelopment.
The 222-acre redevelopment in Pompano Beach, Florida will include a two-level sports bar, nine bars and a Professional Bull Riders (PBR) space, similar to what Cordish has done at Live at the Battery Atlanta. Also included will be retail sales, an event lawn, two outdoor stages and four retail pavilions.
Plans were presented November 17 to the Pompano Beach Review Committee. The developer asserts that the Live! Center will help create “a highly pedestrian-friendly gateway leading into the heart of the overall project.”
Cordish also wants to redevelop the remainder of the property with new warehouses, 4,100 residences, commercial retail, 950 hotel rooms and a small arena.
The Baltimore-based company has built 12 other Live! Centers in the U.S.
