Loutraki Casino Reopens

The Club Hotel Casino Loutraki in Greece, recently ordered to close after the operator failed to pay its gaming revenue taxes, has reopened.

When it was ordered to close on March 1, the casino was in arrears by €250,000 (US$310,000), according to CalvinAyre.com. Local media outlet Parapolitika said the casino did not pay because it had not yet received a €44 million tax refund from the government. Toros News reported that the casino has filed for bankruptcy protection.
