LT Game Targets Slot Sales at MGS

Electronic table game supplier LT Game, Ltd. displayed its first single-player slot game titles at last week’s MGS Entertainment Show trade event in Macau.

Macau-based electronic table game supplier LT Game Ltd. showed its first group of single-player slot game title at last week’s MGS Entertainment Show in Macau, displaying 20 slot titles the company says are already approved by Macau’s regulatory authority.

According to a report in GGRAsia, the slot titles have been developed by LT in Macau and its U.S. subsidiaries, as well as LT Game Japan.

Jay Chun, chairman and managing director of LT Game’s parent Paradise Entertainment Ltd, told GGRAsia the company has been developing the single-player slots for nearly three years. “Our eventual goal is mainly three markets—Macau, Australia and United States,” he said.

“We have three main development teams—one is based in Macau, one is in Las Vegas and another one is in Japan. So you will see three distinct styles there from our (slot)products. The Japanese ones contain more cartoon themes; the American ones have got very vibrant colors in their graphics for the slots; and those from Macau will carry more Chinese motifs.”

LT Game has a minority holding in Tokyo-based LT Game Japan.

“For some of their titles, (LT Game Japan) has collaborated with Namco, which specializes in cartoons and animations and has licensed some of its popular cartoon content, such as Tekken, to the slots. This is a direction that we feel can bring on an advantage that appeal to Asian players.

“Sales (of slot products) can only be realized within the first half of 2019. And I hope that we can sell at least 100 machines per month.”
