International Game Technology PLC announced two contracts last week.
IGT will provide comprehensive casino management systems for Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, opening in December as the first in Las Vegas to deliver an authentic Asian lifestyle experience.
Lucky Dragon will feature IGT’s latest Advantage system, offering advanced marketing, player communication and floor optimization capabilities through Floor Manager, Media Manager with Service Window and Table Manager.
Six different IGT bonusing applications, including Lucky Chip, will bring a progressive bonus to table games for the first time on the Las Vegas Strip. In addition, Lucky Dragon will be the first property in North America to offer IGT rebates and commissions to VIP table game players, based on a popular concept in the Asian gaming market.
IGT SystemWatch will enhance the systems installation by providing remote, around-the-clock system monitoring for performance optimization and reduced down time.
Furthermore, IGT games will have the leading floor share, featuring 12 IGT Dynasty electronic baccarat and roulette table games.
“IGT casino management systems offer us the innovation that we need to bring a carefully curated, authentic Asian experience to the Las Vegas Strip,” said Dave Jacoby, Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino chief operating officer. “With features such as the Lucky Chip bonus and the only Rebates & Commissions offering in North America, IGT has helped us differentiate the Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino as Las Vegas’ premier Asian gaming provider.”
“By securing this agreement with Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino, we’re building on IGT’s leadership in casino management systems innovation,” said Nick Khin, IGT senior vice president of sales, North America gaming and interactive. “Whenever there is a new casino opening on the Las Vegas Strip, competition is fierce for games and systems placement. By providing unique systems capabilities and best-in-class game content, we can help Lucky Dragon Hotel & Casino differentiate itself among players as the authentic Asian gaming experience provider.”
