Wynn Macau Ltd. has announced that Frederic Jean-Luc Luvisotto will be promoted to the position of chief operating officer early next year, one of numerous executive-level changes for the company in recent weeks.
Current Wynn Macau President Ian Michael Coughlan recently announced that he will be stepping down in February 2023, and Wynn Resorts Macau COO Ciaran Carruthers has already accepted the role of CEO at Crown Resorts in Australia. Linda Chen, current COO of Wynn Macau Ltd., will replace Coughlan, allowing Luvisotto to replace Chen.
Luvisotto most recently served as chief operating officer of Wynn Palace Cotai, a position he held since 2014.
Craig Billings, CEO of Wynn Resorts, said in a statement that Luvisotto “has been a standard-bearer for the Wynn brand for many years,” and that his “ promotion to Chief Operating Officer of Wynn Macau Ltd represents a significant step in establishing the team that will lead our company in the next phase of Macau’s development.”
Prior to entering the Macau market, Luvisotto served as managing director of Australia’s Star Sydney—he also held various management positions at the Monte Carlo and MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
