Two Macau casino executives, Pansy Ho and Francis Lui, say Macau and Hong Kong should team up for “multi-stop” tourist excursions that could also include other culturally significant Chinese cities.

According to Asia Gaming Brief, both are members of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). Ho, chairwoman of Macau gaming concessionaire MGM China, recently told the Global Times that Hong Kong and Macau — both special administrative regions (SARs) of the People’s Republic of China—should consider jointly offering multi-day, multi-stop, “Chinese culture-themed” excursions that would increase tourism to Macau.

“Hong Kong and Macau are top destinations for international tourists thanks to their unique geographic location, historical background, and diverse culture,” Ho said.

Lui, vice president of Galaxy Entertainment Group, told the Hong Kong media that the two cities could cooperate for the benefit of both.
