Macau Debuts Ferry Terminal

Macau’s Marine and Water Bureau held an opening ceremony for the new Pac On ferry terminal last week. Located near the airport on Taipa Island, it was designed in part to help deliver more tourists to the Cotai casinos.

Macau’s Pac On ferry opened a new terminal with eight commercial berths last week. The terminal will add eight additional berths and three multi-purpose berths in later stages, reported GGRAsia. The terminal will also feature the first commercial helipad in the Taipa-Cotai area.

The ferry port will have a capacity to handle about 400,000 ferry passengers per day, according to the city’s Marine and Water Bureau. The ferry is expected to deliver more tourists to the new Cotai Strip casino resorts.
