Macau Kicks Off RG Campaign

Macau’s Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), in partnership with the Social Welfare Bureau and the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming of the University of Macau, has joined to launch the Responsible Gambling Promotion 2021, aimed at increasing awareness of gambling disorders.

For the second year running, the year’s theme is “Lost Control, Lose Family,” suggesting the toll gambling disorders take on personal relationships. Through December, Macau social service organizations will promote responsible gambling with online videos, workshops, lectures and more. The message will also be delivered through advertising on TV, radio, bus promotional videos and social media channels.

Macau’s gaming operators will also hold activities to promote the responsible gambling messaging to employees, residents and tourists, reported Inside Asian Gaming.
