Businessman Wong Man Cheung has been named CFO of Macau Legend Development, the company reported in a filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Wong will also be an executive vice president of the firm and the company secretary, as well as alternative authorized representative of the company to Macau Legend Co-Chairman Carl Tong Ka Wing.
He succeeds former CFO Yuen Chin Yau Laurence, who has resigned. The filing stated that Yuen resigned voluntarily and not as a result of any dispute with the board.
Wong has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, corporate finance, treasury, business and financial controlling, financial advisory and corporate governance. Before joining Macau Legend, he served as the head of finance, company secretary and authorized representative of Sunevision Holdings Ltd. from 2015 to 2016. The company is a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd.
