Live! Casino & Hotel in Hanover, Maryland has hired 30-year gaming industry veteran Ming Mak as executive director of international relationship marketing. Previously Mak served as a marketing executive for player development at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in northern California.
Mak has opened five Asian gaming rooms at properties in Maryland, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He also opened the first Asian gaming room and noodle bar concept in Atlantic City.
In his new role at Live! Casino & Hotel, Mak will increase international player development with a special emphasis on Asian customers, leading the Live! Casino multicultural team who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean and Indonesian.
With a strong relationship among Asian customers, Live! Casino & Hotel recently added a highly visible section on the gaming floor featuring Asian-themed slots and popular table games including baccarat.
