The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has canceled or suspended the licenses of several gaming companies, Yogonet reported August 4.
They include EGMIT Elite Ltd., SFJL Holding Ltd. and Green Feather Online.
The MGA canceled the license of EGMIT Elite Ltd., operator of the Elite24bet brand, for individual breaches of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations.
These included failure to discharge financial commitments at its casinos, failure to pay players promptly and failure to pay fees promptly.
The operator is no longer allowed to conduct gaming operations and must remove references to regulatory approval from its websites and platforms.
The MGA suspended the license of SFJL Holding Ltd., for violating Regulation 9 of the Gaming License Fees Regulations. SFJL has the option to appeal this suspension, but cannot conduct gaming operations during the suspension.
The MGA also suspended the license of operator Green Feather Online, which was using a B2C Gaming Service License to run Bcasino.com, Bcasino.in, Boocasino.com, Boocasino.co, Galacticwins.com, and Mrfortune.com.
The suspension came because Green Feather breached several regulations that were mainly related to submitting financial information to the MGA.
It said Green Feather was required to submit management accounts for the first half of the year no later than the eight month of the financial year and to file audited financial statements within 180 days after its financial year ended. It failed to do both.
Besides not being allowed to operate during the suspension, Green Feather must refund all funds of player accounts.
