Management Changes At Coastal Casinos

Familiar names have new positions at Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos. Chett Harrison (l.) has been named general manager at Golden Nugget Biloxi, following Jim Hoskins' departure to become divisional vice president of gaming for Golden Nugget Casinos. Also, Anthony Carlucci now is general manager at Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Boomtown Biloxi.

Changes recently were announced at Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos. At Golden Nugget Biloxi, Chett Harrison has been named general manager, following Jim Hoskins’ promotion to divisional vice president of gaming for Golden Nugget casinos. In other Gulf Coast personnel moves, Anthony Carlucci has been named general manager at Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis and Boomtown Biloxi.

Tilman Fertitta, Golden Nugget chairman and chief executive officer, said, “The Golden Nugget Biloxi is the Gulf Coast star of our growing gaming company and we are lucky to have someone with Chett’s experience joining our organization.” Hoskins added, “Chett is my hand-picked successor. His experience and local roots to the community make him a perfect fit for our company.”

A Pascagoula native , Hoskins was named general manager at the Golden Nugget Biloxi in January 2013 and oversaw the resort’s $100 million renovation and expansion. Previously he was general manager at Grand Casino Gulfport and Harrah’s New Orleans. He also worked at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

Mississippi native and 13-year employee at Penn National Gaming, Harrison began his career with the company in 2001 as director of marketing at Boomtown Biloxi. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager at Boomtown Biloxi and Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis. Harrison also has also worked at Copa Casino in Gulfport, Sands Regency Hotel and Casino in Reno, and Palace Casino Biloxi.

Carlucci served as general manager at Hollywood Casino St. Louis prior to his recent promotion. He also was assistant general manager at Boomtown Biloxi and general manager of Hollywood Casino Tunica.

Tony did a fantastic job managing the renovation and conversion to the Hollywood brand at the St. Louis property, and is excited to be back in Mississippi in this important role for Penn National Gaming.”
