Motorcycle entertainment venue Sturgis Buffalo Chip and developer Mark Advent have set out plans to launch a new casino hotel in Nevada.
Plans are already underway with developers carrying out due diligence on a potential site in southern Nevada. Buffalo Chip added that deal discussions are “progressing positively.”
Should the project move ahead, it would include a barn-themed casino and 200-room hotel. The development would also house a pedestrian thoroughfare known as Sturgis Street, lined with shops and dining options.
Also within the same project would be live event venue Woody’s Barn, a three-level Honky Tonk music bar, and a 10,000-seat amphitheater in Tiny Town’s. In addition, Bikini Beach would serve as the “ultimate summer oasis for sun and fun seekers.”
Recreating the Buffalo Chip Experience
Experienced developer Advent has declared his full support for the proposed project. Advent is the mind behind New York-New York hotel and casino in Las Vegas and the founder of Buffalo Chip Global.
“The Chip isn’t just a place – it’s an unparalleled feeling,” Advent said. “It embodies music, motorcycles, freedom and friends, each representing one of the four pillars on which the Chip is deeply rooted.
“Our plan is to develop Buffalo Chip-branded destinations that will capture the same feeling of freedom and camaraderie that has been enjoyed by millions of people over the years. In doing so, we will introduce the ‘Best Party Anywhere’ to even more people!”
Another feature at the proposed site is Sturgis Buffalo Chip Roadhouse. Developers said this will be a “spirited collection” of restaurants and bars designed to reflect the Buffalo Chip brand
“For our guests, the Chip embodies tradition,” said Rod Woodruff, the founder of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “It’s a reunion, a pilgrimage, a celebration of individuality. Now, we get to bottle that magic and share it with even more people in more pioneering ways than ever.”
