The Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Control Agency announced that March gaming revenues for the state’s six casinos were $68.6 million before the state ordered all casinos to close on March 16 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
March casino revenues decreased 57.9% compared to March 2019, when the casinos generated a single-month record of $163,262,848.
MGM National Harbor led the industry with revenues of $26 million, a decrease of 58.6 percent from March 2019. Live! Casino & Hotel followed with $24.8 million, down 55.6 percent year-on-year.
