Five of Maryland’s six casinos saw year-over-year increases in gaming revenue in February, leaving Horseshoe Casino Baltimore as the only one of the state’s casinos to log a decline for the month.
Gaming revenue generated by all six casinos totaled $151.3 million, up 10.6 percent from a year earlier, according to the state Lottery and Gaming Commission. MGM National Harbor continued in the top spot at $61.1 million in gaming revenue, up 13.3 percent from February 2019.
Live! Casino & Hotel, in Arundel Mills, had $54.8 million in February gaming revenue, up 18.9% from a year earlier. Maryland’s three smaller casinos all saw increases in gaming revenue.
Horseshoe’s $17.9 million in gaming revenue was down 13.3 percent from February 2019, continuing a series of monthly year-on-year declines for the casino.
