Massachusetts Governor: Hurry, Sports Betting

Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has renewed his call for the Bay State legislature to legalize sports betting. This time he took to Twitter to urge on lawmakers.

His Tweet read: “Great to see the @Patriots back! We filed a bill in 2019 and again this year to legalize sports betting in MA—it’s time to act and get this done. MA is losing out to many of our neighbors on this one.”

The governor claims the state is losing money to neighboring Rhode Island, which has offered sportsbooks for more than a year.
