MaximBet Gets Skin in the Game in Indiana

MaximBet announced last Friday that it was launching a sportsbook in Indiana. The Hoosier State will be the second location in the United States for the sports gaming and online casino brand that is part of the Maxim Magazine umbrella.

Carousel Group, the parent company for MaximBet, entered into a multi-state, 10-year partnership with Caesars Entertainment that enables the brand to secure market access to states across the country.

Colorado is currently the only other state that Maxim has a presence in, but a press release associated with the Indiana launch said the company is eyeing other locales.

“The rollout in Indiana sets the path for rapid expansion in several additional markets including Iowa, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, among others, as well the Canadian province of Ontario,” the release said.

What separates Indiana from Colorado is that this will be the first time for MaximBet to use its new, expansive sports betting service and user experience technology, which was developed in partnership with Kambi Group and White Hat Gaming. This allows MaximBet to utilize Kambi’s betting solutions as well as its expertise in compliance, risk management, and sports integrity.

Daniel Graetzer, Founder and CEO of MaximBet said in the release that partnering with Kambi will allow the company to provide unique features such as micro betting, thousands of markets, Bet Builder, plus Kambi’s parlay product, Teaser+.

“We’re unwavering in our commitment to bring sports fans the greatest sports betting experience in the world, and that starts with premium content and a world-class betting environment,” Graetzer said. “We will move quickly to bring our unique value proposition to players throughout the country. To begin now just as the NFL season is revving up and with NHL, NBA, and college basketball action right around the corner, we couldn’t be more excited about our future.”

MaximBet is available through a sports betting and casino website, and tailor-made native iOS and Android apps.

The sports betting brand also has a partnership in place with White Hat, which will allow the company to offer a full-service online gaming platform and privileged access management (PAM) solution, including proprietary technology such as an in-house cashier and a first-to-market traveling wallet.

To support the launch, MaximBet is offering a first-time deposit match of up to $250, as well as preparing “Super Freaky Odds Boosts” daily for players. Opportunities to earn tickets to Maxim parties, brand merchandise and other exclusive events will be announced soon.

Renowned female rapper Nicki Minaj was announced this summer as the company’s newest investor, board member, and global ambassador. The multi-year agreement includes Minaj appearing in MaximBet ads, website, sportsbook, and casino promotions.

MaximBet also partnered this year with professional baseball player Charlie Blackmon, thus becoming the first sportsbook to partner with an active MLB athlete.
