Jesse B. McDaniel, has been named assistant general manager of the Muckleshoot Casino near Auburn, Washington. He becomes the first member of the Mucleshoot tribe to be named to this position.
During the past five years McDaniel has been tribal business leader, where he informed himself of the details of marketing, finance, support operations and information technology.
He commented on his promotion: “I would like all Tribal members, as well as our 1,700-member workforce, to know I am here to help them reach their goals and grow as we move into the future,” states McDaniel. “You can do whatever you put your mind to; you’ve got to work hard, but it’s here for you. The future of Muckleshoot Casino is never-ending.”
Tribal Chairman Jaison Elkins praised McDaniel: “Over the past 20 years, Jesse McDaniel has played a key role in the success of the Tribe’s gaming operations.” He added, “His accomplishments and a strong commitment to retaining our position as the region’s premier entertainment destination is a source of great pride for the Muckleshoot Tribe.”
The casino resort is in the midst of an expansion that will add a 20,000 square foot event center and 400-room hotel, along with more gaming and dining options. The expansion is planned to be completed next year.
