Meier Replaces Kohn At Nevada Gold & Casinos

James J. Kohn has resigned as chief financial officer and secretary at Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. The company hired James D. Meier, most recently vice president of strategic planning and financial analysis at Full House Resorts, as vice president, chief financial officer and secretary. Kohn will stay on during the transition.

Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. recently announced financial and casino industry executive James D. Meier has joined the company as vice president, chief financial officer and secretary, replacing James J. Kohn who resigned as chief financial officer and secretary. Kohn will remain at the company during a transitional period.

Meier, 50, most recently had served as vice president of strategic planning and financial analysis at Full House Resorts, Inc., which he joined in 2004 as controller, moving up to chief financial officer. A graduate of Minnesota State University with an M.S. in hotel administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Meier, a certified public accountant, also has held financial and accounting positions at other gaming operations in Nevada.
