Melco’s Cyprus Operations Shuttered Until End of Month

Melco Entertainment last week extended the closure of its four satellite Cyprus Casinos to April 30 to coincide with the order from President Nicos Anastasiades that the country will remain on lockdown until that time. Cyprus Casinos (C2) is a joint venture between Melco and Cyprus Phassouri (Zakaki) Ltd,

Melco operates four C2 satellite casinos in Cyprus—in Paphos, Ayia Napa, Nicosia and Larnaca—and a temporary casino in Limassol. The Limassol casino will close when Melco’s City of Dreams Mediterranean opens in 2021. Cyprus has a small number of Covid-19 cases.
