Merkur Gaming Mexico Hires Ferreira

Merkur Gaming Mexico, a subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group, named 15-year gaming industry veteran Ronnie Ferreira as general manager. A strong advocate for effective gaming regulation, Ferreira brings to his new position executive experience in gaming manufacturing and operations, plus leadership in start-ups, acquisitions and casino business development.

Ronnie Ferreira recently was named general manager at Merkur Gaming Mexico, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Gauselmann Group. Ferreira brings to his new position more than 15 years of executive experience in gaming industry manufacturing and operations.

In his 15-year gaming industry career, Ferreira has worked in his native Brazil, the U.S., Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Mexico. He held positions at the Ritzio Group and served as general manager at the leading Class II manufacturer, Cadillac Jack, from 2007 to 2011. In addition, Ferreira has experience in start-ups, acquisitions and developments of casino industry businesses.

Ferreira is an active member of the Brazilian Association of Gaming and was a co-founder of a leading gaming association in Mexico. He strongly advocates for advocate of effective gaming regulation, emphasizing its positive benefits for tourism, jobs creation and the growth of gaming in the entertainment industry.
