Merkur Gaming, the gaming supply arm of Germany’s Gauselmann Group, announced at the recent Global Gaming Expo that the company has become an associate member of the National Indian Gaming Association.
To celebrate Merkur Gaming’s successful application for associate member status, NIGA Chairman Ernest L. Stevens, Jr. visited the Merkur booth at G2E, where he was welcomed by Merkur CEO Charles Hiten and Gauselmann board member Jurgen Stuhmeyer.
“Merkur Gaming is extremely proud to now become an Associate Member of NIGA,” said Hiten. “We see this as a pivotal step in our stated commitment to work hand in hand with tribal government gaming and to fully support the aims and objectives of NIGA’s mission to protect and preserve the general welfare of tribes striving for self-sufficiency through gaming enterprises in Indian Country.”
Merkur will exhibit at the 2017 Indian Gaming Tradeshow and Convention, to be held April 10-13 at the San Diego Convention Center.
