Metric Gaming Names Bali To New Board

Atul Bali, president of the Games Division at RealNetworks Inc., has been named the first member of the new advisory board at Metric Gaming, a leading provider of sports wagering software and services. With nearly two decades of gaming and regulated lottery industry experience, Bali will advise Metric's board in business strategy and market opportunities.

Metric Gaming LLC announced industry veteran Atul Bali, president of the Games Division at RealNetworks Inc., will be the first member of its new advisory board. Bali offers more than 17 years of professional experience in the regulated lottery and gaming industry, and will advise Metric’s board of directors on business strategy and market opportunities. 

Louis Castle, chairman of Las Vegas-based Metric, a leading provider of sports wagering software and services, said, “Mr. Bali is an extraordinary addition to the Metric team. He is an enormously well-respected industry veteran, who brings to the table nearly two decades of outstanding leadership experience.  We are lucky to have him.”

Bali also served as president and chief executive officer at Aristocrat Technologies Inc and as chief executive officer at Disruptive Technologies Ltd. (previously XEN Group), a venture capital firm focusing on start-up mobile gaming and technology companies. Bali also was president and chief executive officer at the iGaming, sports betting and server-based games division at GTECH G2, where he also served as group senior vice president for corporate development and strategy.
