Metric Gaming Partners With Sporting Solutions

Metric Gaming has entered into a strategic partnership with data and trading services provider Sporting Solutions for the mutual distribution of each other’s market leading sports wagering products, the companies announced. CEO Peter Bertilsson (l.) says the purchase will upgrade the company’s technology.

Metric Gaming and Sporting Solutions have agreed to a strategic partnership for mutual distribution of their products.

Metric’s partnership with Sporting Solutions marks Metric’s foray into the sportsbook platform business, the company said in a press release.

In exchange for Sporting Solutions’ comprehensive content and pricing solutions, Sporting Solutions has been awarded a license to distribute Metric’s in-play pricing feeds throughout Sporting Solutions’ high profile global customer base, the release said.

“Our market research has definitively shown an industry appetite to shed legacy technology in favor of advanced, mobile-first platforms like ours, which can seamlessly handle the types of in-play, instant-gratification wagering opportunities that are taking over the betting landscape,” said Metric’s CEO, Peter Bertilsson. “We were looking for a trusted and well-established partner to complement our sportsbook platform while also providing access to a valuable customer distribution network, making Sporting Solutions an easy choice.”
