MGM, Gamblit Partner on Skill Games

MGM Resorts International will place the skill-based games of Gamblit Gaming at several of its land-based casinos, beginning with the millennial-friendly Level Up room (l.) at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

MGM Resorts International and Gamblit Gaming announced a strategic partnership to bring Gamblit’s skill-based gaming experiences to several properties within the MGM Resorts portfolio, beginning with the millennial-friendly Level Up lounge at MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

“We’re excited to continue to evolve the casino space through our partnership with MGM Resorts, with its incredible reach and mutual drive toward innovation,” said Eric Meyerhofer, CEO of Gamblit Gaming. “MGM Resorts shares our objective of bringing groundbreaking entertainment experiences that engage customers in an entirely new way.”

Gamblit’s Model G interactive game tables are now live at the Level Up lounge. The Model G game table allows gamers to play cooperatively or competitively in groups of two to four players, and offers player amenities such as a USB charging port, among others, at each of the four positions surrounding a shared 42-inch touch screen. Gamblit Poker and Cannonbeard’s Treasure, two of Gamblit’s most social and engaging titles, can be played on two game tables at Level Up, with more games to be added soon.

“MGM Grand has developed an exciting, interactive community gaming space that offers players the opportunity to compete against one another,” said Scott Sibella, president and COO of MGM Grand. “We are committed to keeping our gaming experiences fresh and exciting for our guests, and our partnership with Gamblit Gaming brings this vision to life.”

Darion Lowenstein, chief marketing officer of Gamblit Gaming, said, “I grew up in video game arcades—and loved Level Up at MGM Grand at first sight! Its fun and social environment is a perfect fit for Gamblit’s high-energy, arcade-like gaming experiences.”

Gamblit Poker™ puts a fun, fast-paced and skill-based spin on the classic game of Poker with the house putting up a pot that players compete to win. Each player starts with two cards which, as soon as the game begins, are followed by a single deck of cards shown in rapid succession in the middle of the table. Using a touch screen button, players have to quickly grab the virtual cards they need in order to complete the best possible poker hand. The player with the best hand wins the pot making for an extremely social, interactive and competitive gaming experience.

In Cannonbeard’s Treasure players compete against the house in an action-packed, fast-paced game of cards and skill. Using the same touch screen button, players build a hand by grabbing the cards they need and reach the target number first to win a chest of gold. The player who gets closest to the objective without going over, wins in this exciting twist on traditional card table games.

Pending final regulatory approval, Gamblit plans to launch new hardware and games at additional MGM Resorts properties along the Las Vegas Strip in the near future.

As the leading innovator of real money and skill gaming, Gamblit Gaming develops and publishes a wide variety of games that bring a casual, arcade sense of fun and skill into the casino market. Gamblit Gaming also works closely with top game developers to gamblify and publish its hit games into new markets, tapping into the lucrative revenue streams of land-based casinos.
