MGM Resorts International has named Chris Kelley future president and COO of Northfield Park in Ohio, which has been known as Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park, but which will soon be taken over by MGM.
The Northfield property will be rebranded as an MGM casino when it takes possession during the first half of this year. Kelly will oversee daily operations at the casino and provide “strategic direction and leadership,” according to the company.
Anton Nikodemus, chief operating officer of regional operations of MGM Resorts, commented “We are thrilled to have the Northfield Park team joining the MGM Resorts family and look forward to Chris’ leadership and strategic vision driving the Company’s success as we expand into a new market in Ohio.”
Kelly joined MGM as vice president and chief financial officer of MGM Grand Detroit in 2017. Before that he served in various leadership roles at Viejas Casino and Resort in San Diego County, including chief financial officer.
