MGM Promotes Resort Leaders in Las Vegas and Tunica

MGM Resorts recognized the accomplishments of five of its leaders last week, promoting general managers at three Las Vegas and one Tunica, Mississippi properties to presidents and COOs, including Ann Hoff (l.) at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) announced today the promotions of five executives to the position of president and chief operating officer at their respective resorts.

“We are pleased to recognize the success of these leaders of large-scale resorts by promoting them to positions that reflect the true scope and complexity of their roles,” said Corey Sanders, MGM Resorts’ chief operating officer. “We would not be a world leader in entertainment and hospitality without the contributions of talented individuals such as these.”

The following general managers have been promoted:

• Eric Fitzgerald to president and COO of Circus Circus Las Vegas

• Ann Hoff to president and COO of Excalibur Hotel & Casino

• Melonie Johnson to president and COO of Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Miss.

• Patrick Miller to president and COO of Monte Carlo Resort and Casino

• Nik Rytterstrom to president and COO of Luxor Hotel & Casino

Fitzgerald has served as the general manager of Circus Circus since October 2014. He joined the company in 2005 as vice president of hotel operations at Excalibur. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Arizona State University.

Hoff became the general manager of Excalibur in September 2014. She joined the company in 1990 when she was hired into the Management Associate Program at the Mirage Hotel & Casino. She has held leadership roles at the Mirage, New York-New York Hotel & Casino, Treasure Island and Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hotel and restaurant management from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

In June 2015, Johnson joined the company as general manager of Gold Strike. Previously, she served in leadership roles with Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia, Penn National Gaming and Caesars Entertainment, among others. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University of New Orleans.

Since November 2012, Miller has served as general manager of Monte Carlo, which will soon transform into Park MGM and the NoMad Las Vegas. He joined the company in 1995 as a pit clerk at the Mirage, and later graduated from the Management Associate Program. He also has served in leadership roles at the Mirage and Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Rytterstrom has been the general manager of Luxor since March 2015. He joined the company in 1999 as assistant hotel manager at Bellagio Resort & Casino. He then served in leadership roles at the Mirage and Beau Rivage, and most recently as the general manager at Gold Strike. He has a Bachelor of Science in hospitality from University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
