MGM Resorts International has announced its plans for the upcoming Formula 1 Grand Prix motor-racing event in Las Vegas.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix will take place from November 20-22. It will be the third edition of the race, which was won last year by George Russell of Mercedes.
This year, several MGM-owned properties will run fan zones in partnership with Mercedes, Williams Racing and MoneyGram Haas. Zones will be featured across the Bellagio, ARIA, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and New York-New York.
Food and beverage experiences will also run at several properties during the event. These include the Shoey Bar and Cavallino, both at the Bellagio, as well as the Paella Party with José Andrés at Jaleo at The Cosmopolitan.
MGM Pledges ‘Unmatched’ Grand Prix Experience
Also running will be a series of fashion pop-ups, such as the Ferrari Boutique and Marchesa Trunk Show at the Bellagio. In addition, several MGM venues will host art experiences during race week.
MGM also confirmed that drivers, team principals and fan favorites will be featured across these gatherings. Confirmed appearances include drivers Esteban Ocon and Ollie Bearman, as well as F1 legend Daniel Ricciardo.
“The Las Vegas Grand Prix captures the world’s attention, and no one brings it to life like MGM Resorts,” said Ryan Abboushi, MGM Resorts’ president of entertainment. “With our properties only steps from the track, we’re creating an unmatched collection of food & beverage experiences, art, fashion, nightlife, and fan zones that only Las Vegas can deliver.
“This is where the energy of Formula 1 meets the spectacle of The Strip.”
