MGS 2017 to Highlight Cloud Services, eSports

The trade show of the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers’ Association will highlight cloud computing providers and Chinese suppliers of eSports games.

The MGS Entertainment Show 2017, formerly the Macao Gaming Show, will take place at Venetian Macao November 14-16, with an emphasis on cloud computing providers and Chinese suppliers of eSports games, the chairman of the event’s organizing body told GGR Asia.

MGS is produce by the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers’ Association (MGEMA). According to Jay Chun, chairman of MGEMA, representatives from Alibaba Cloud and Amazon Web Services will speak at the MGS Summit, the conference portion of the trade event.

“They will share how their cloud technology can help the industry to grow, and save costs, and how to help their clients to keep their database secure, because actually the security level of the services provided by these two companies is among the highest in the world,” Chun told GGR Asia.
