Michigan Grants AGS Provisional iGaming License

The Michigan Gaming Control Board recently granted a provisional iGaming supplier license to content provider AGS. The license allows AGS to provide game content for Michigan’s licensed online casino operators upon gaming board approval, expected in January.

After online gaming goes live in Michigan, players will be able to access the same games offered at the state’s land-based casinos on their computers or smartphones, through AGS’ remote gaming server. Popular AGS game titles include Capital Gains, Fu Nan Fu Nu, Golden Wins, Jade Wins, Longhorn Jackpots and Rakin’ Bacon.

AGS Executive Vice President Matt Reback said, “We are confident that Michigan is going to be a strong market for us, with three commercial casinos that cater to a repeat player base, and player familiarity with AGS games due to the popularity and longevity of our land-based games in the Michigan market.”

AGS’ online game content also is offered in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, as well as regulated markets in Europe and Latin America.
