Michigan Tribe Names New Casino CEO

Allen M. Kerridge has been named CEO of Kewadin Casinos in Michigan. He is a member of the tribe and has served in the role in an interim capacity for the past year.

Michigan Tribe Names New Casino CEO

The Sault Tribe has named one of its own, Allen M. Kerridge, as CEO of Kewadin Casinos in Michigan. The appointment was made by the tribe’s board of directors and gaming authority.

Kerridge has been interim CEO for more than a year. He appointment was effective immediately.

Tribal Chairman Aaron Payment stated, “The Gaming Authority and Sault Tribe Board of Directors are excited about entering a new era and approach to capitalizing on our greatest asset — our Kewadin team members.” He added, “A plan for reigniting our quality control advisory and for soliciting from individual team members how we can improve will be announced in the weeks to come.”

Kerridge has two decades of experience in casino management, gaming marketing and human resources, all gained at the tribe’s Kewadin Casinos. He was general manager of both the Sault Ste. Marie and Manistique casinos.
