Microgaming has released a real-money casino app for the Windows Store. The app can be used on any device running Windows Phone 8.0 or Windows Phone 8.1.
The app is considered the first real-money casino app for Windows Phone and features over 35 of Microgaming’s premium games, including online slots, progressives, table games and video poker
According to the company, the app is designed to be user friendly with a simple and intuitive user interface that allows players to install games easily. The app also adjusts gameplay to different devices and is expected to be upgraded regularly. .
“We follow mobile developments very closely and recent statistics show that the Windows Phone market share is increasing significantly across many European countries,” said John Quinn, Head of Casino at Microgaming. “With this in mind, we believe that Microsoft’s mobile platform is an important one to invest in. We saw an opportunity and we jumped at it.”
