Mid-August Opening Set For Potawatomi Hotel

Construction is nearly completed on the second hotel tower at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Spokesman Ryan Amundson said the hotel has begun booking guests in its new rooms starting August 15 but possibly could open sooner.

Ground was broken on the $80 million, 19-story tower in December 2017. Its 119 rooms and suites will bring the property’s total room count to 500, making it the second largest hotel in the city. The new addition will also feature a spa and additional meeting space.

Besides the hotel tower, a $1.3 million renovation is under way at the Dream Dance Steak restaurant. It closed on June 9 and will reopen in the fall. Also in the fall, the property will add two Topgolf Swing Suite bays in the area of the Side Bar next to the Fire Pit Sports Bar & Grill.
